Aura at College Park Construction Update: May 2013

Shall we say that Aura at College Park truly will be a landmark condo in the City of Toronto? Whether you're looking from the North, South, East or West, Aura is standing tall. She really is a beauty!
We have watched closely as she has made her presence slowly in the sky. It's hard to believe that she is close to being 60 storeys as of now. Another 18 more floors to go and she will be complete. If you haven't had a chance to visit the retail components of Aura at College Park, you definitely should. The entire corner of Yonge and Gerrard appears to have taken new life. The hustle and bustle of this corner now has the same feeling as a busy corner in New York. Once the residents have moved in, it is quite possible that this corner will become one of the most visited in the City of Toronto.

Aura Condos is Curving!

A visit to the the Aura at College Park construction site in Toronto showed that the condo is starting to curve. With the condo set to curve close to the executive suites starting on the 56 floor, there is evidence from the photos below that this is indeed starting to happen.

Aura College Park Construction Update: End of January 2013

With Toronto finally experiencing a true Canadian winter, a walk to the Aura at College Park construction site was in order. With snowflakes coming down, it was challenging to take clear pictures of the tower. However, from the pictures below one can see that the cold weather has not stopped the construction progress. With the executive suites starting on the 56th floor, it's hard to believe that Aura Condos will start construction on these floors sooner then later. Finishing Construction Touches at Aura Condos

 With so much focus on the height of Aura Condos at College Park, we thought we would give a construction update on the lower portion of the condo. The builder has spared no expense in ensuring that the podium of Aura at College Park is completed with the up most sophistication. Not only will the additional effort the builder has put into completing the podium guarantee the revitalization of the Yonge and Gerrard corner, but also the opening of the 55 000s/f  Bed, Bath and Beyond yesterday.

The corner of Yonge and Gerrard is definitely awaiting the arrival and completion of Aura Condos at College Park. This corner is in much need of some revitalization. Aura College Park Construction Update: October 2012

A visit to the Aura at College Park construction site showed that construction has almost completed the 38th floor. It's hard to believe that they still have 50 storeys to go! Barbara Ann Scott

We wanted to do a special posting in honor of Barbara Ann Scott who passed over the weekend. This remarkable woman brought home the only gold medal to Canada for women's figure skating. Construction Photos of P1 Commercial Units at Aura Condos

Well it looks like the P1 level of Aura at College Park is coming along nicely! A quick visit to the P1 level left us extremely impressed. Not only are the individual retail spaces finished extremely well, but the developer has spared no expense on the corridors and lighting. It is refreshing to see that the P1 level is lit very well and will provide a nice atmosphere for shoppers.

Keep in mind that the Aura residential units will have direct access to these shops on the P1 level and there will also be direct access to the subway and eventually a connection to Toronto's underground PATH system.

Aura Construction Update: White Siding Completes North West Side of Condo

 A stroll around the Aura Condo at College Park construction site showed the finishing touches of white siding being completed on both the north and west sides of the condo. This final touch adds a refreshing touch to this relatively "grey" corner. With the commercial component of Aura Condos consisting of the ground floor to the 4th floor, it appears as though the white siding will differentiate this component of the tower from the residential portion. Only time will tell as construction of this high rise is still well underway!

Terraces and Balconies on Aura at College Park Condos

A lot of new condos, specifically pre construction condos are being sold now with no balconies or terraces. This seems to be a newer trend as before almost all condos were sold with some type of outdoor space.

Aura at College Park not only boasts generous balconies but there are may units that have huge enormous outdoor spaces. Some units have terraces that are over 1000 square feet. These type of outdoor spaces are hard to come by in Toronto condos. Aura Condos which will be 78 storeys offers outdoor spaces and terraces up to and inclusive of the 56th floor . After this floor, there is no outdoor space due to the extreme height of the condos.
