Aura at College Park Construction Update: September 16, 2011

Aura at College Park officially has the shell for the retail component of the tower.  The retail component of Aura comprises of the first four floors with the residential units starting on the fifth floor. With huge national tenants leasing out the retail space of these floors, there is no question that this building will completely change the Yonge and Gerrard corner. The fifth floor of the building will also be home to an incredible recreation facility including a state of the art fitness center. This building cannot be built quick enough! The lower residential floors (5-55) have completed their colour selection and are now looking to occupy sometime late next year. The executive floors which start on the 56th floor have started their color selection and along with the penthouse units, have a later occupancy. The builder made the conscious decision to have two condo corporations individually for the lower floors and the upper floors which will allow the owners of the lower floors to move in quicker.
